Tuesday 20th September to Thursday 22nd September 2022
The conference is taking place at:
The Glasgow Royal Concert Hall
2 Sauchiehall Street
Theme of the Conference
In recent times the Black Lives Matter movement has acted as a catalyst for inclusivity, awakening us to racial prejudice and discrimination.
We have become more aware of the impending climate crisis and the need for sustainable behaviours in a world where we can feel powerless to make a positive impact.
The Covid pandemic has forced us to consider our need for connection as we experience isolation and separation.
The digitisation of communication has better connected us and yet more and more people report feeling lonely.
People affected by substance use remain some of the most stigmatised and marginalised people around the world.
Now more than ever we must consider what Therapeutic Community can teach us and wider society about Inclusivity, Sustainability and Complexity.
